About
Booking a School’s Workshop with us gives your pupils the unique opportunity to learn alongside a broad collection of inspirational Roman objects, all housed within an original Roman townhouse.
We believe in learning through play and our activities are designed to stimulate curiosity, collaboration and creativity. Through handling real artefacts and investigating our collections your class or group can develop a range of enquiry-based learning skills.
Our dedicated Learning team will work with you to ensure you get the most from your visit, so whether you are investigating Roman technology, exploring Roman mosaics, or looking to discover more about Roman everyday life we have a workshop to suit your needs.

Health and Wellbeing
Health & Wellbeing is at the heart of what we do and we are in a unique position to support your school’s pandemic recovery curriculum. Interacting and socialising in an inspiring environment can help to boost confidence and participating in calming, focused activities can help to reduce levels of anxiety. Groups will reflect on what they have learned as well as how their experience makes them feel.
