The Beaney How to get here

Creative sessions designed to support mental health and wellbeing.

  • Art Therapy
Art Therapy at The Beaney is led by a registered art psychotherapist and is funded through Live Well Kent. Sessions are delivered on Wednesday afternoons in the museum and are delivered in blocks of 8 sessions.

No previous experience in art is required, you will be supported to try a variety of creative techniques, using different art materials.

Art Therapy can support mental health and wellbeing by promoting relaxation, reflection and providing a space to talk about how you are feeling.

Our Art Psychotherapist has over 20 years experience working with people with a variety of mental health conditions, and sessions are relaxed, friendly and free to attend.

The next art therapy cohort starts May 4th 2022. To book your introductory session and find out more, please complete the registration form on the Live Well Kent website.
