Ghost hunt trail
Calling all detective agents! We need your help to solve the mystery case of Edith Miller who mysteriously vanished in 1904.
Strange things have started happening around the galleries. Objects seem to be moving and staff have reported seeing a ghostly figure. Can you follow the clues and help solve the mystery?
Plus, get the answers right to be in with a chance to WIN a Samsung Galaxy Tablet!*

Price: £5 per trail/group
Carve your own pumpkin, whilst learning about the ancient holiday of *Samhain (Summer’s End) and how peoples beliefs and traditions have influenced our ideas of Halloween over time.
You can also investigate some uniquely spooky artefacts from the museum collection in our horrifying Halloween Handling Sessions!
Limited spaces available. Either drop in or book in advance from our Visitor Information Desk. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
Times: Sessions will run 10.30am – 12.00pm and 6.30pm – 8.00pm.

Admission is free. Fundraising proceeds from activities will go towards supporting Canterbury Museums and Galleries extensive special exhibitions, lifelong learning and community engagement programmes.

*Terms and conditions apply. Competition opens 20 October and closes 28 October 2018. All eligible entries must include name and either a contact email address or phone number. Only one entry per person. All valid and correctly completed entries received by the closing date will be entered into a prize draw which will take place on 31 October 2018. The first correct entry drawn at random will be the winner. The winner will be notified via email or phone on 31 October 2018. The prize for the winner is a Samsung Galaxy Tablet and a Canterbury Museums and Galleries annual family membership valid for 12 months. The winner must claim their prize within 30 days of notification being sent.
