The human story began over six million years ago in Africa. Come and learn about how humans have evolved from our earliest ancestors all the way through to ourselves, in a one-of-a-kind exhibition put on by the School of Anthropology and Conservation at the University of Kent.

World-renowned experts on human prehistory, Prof. Tracy Kivell and Dr. Matthew Skinner (and their students), will present the major changes in how we moved around, what we ate, and how we made and used tools.

Through interactive displays accessible to all ages, you will explore the human evolutionary story that began in Africa and spread across the globe. Over 100 replicas of fossil human bones and teeth will be on display, as well as, a fun activity space for children. Do come and join us for this unique opportunity to learn about your distant past!

Location: Garden Room, The Beaney
