The Beaney House of Art and Knowledge invites you to join us for the first of a series of digital conferences exploring the role of the Museum in celebrating and reflecting diversity and inclusion. The Canterbury museum conference will explore the impact of accessibility & inclusion on our communities Health and Wellbeing, reflecting on the role of the sector in cultivating an inclusive approach to programming and activity planning in museums.
Delegates are invited to join the conversation about the role of museums in the wider contexts of promoting and supporting Health & Wellbeing with a panel discussion exploring the intersections between Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility.
The conference will consist of a panel discussion with local museum sector professionals and service users alongside presentations of real life case studies. There will also be opportunities for participation and networking through facilitated discussions.
This conference is suitable for museum and heritage professionals, people working in equality & diversity practice in the cultural sector, health care professionals working in the cultural sector, as well as freelancers and educators.
