An event for Teachers to meet at The Beaney to find out about Learning at the museums in the new academic year.

We warmly invite teachers, school senior managers and school governors to attend a celebration at The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge, to mark the start of term and look towards the new academic year.

In addition to exclusive free access to The Making of Marlowe: Poet, Playwright, Provocateur exhibition, guests will also have the opportunity to meet and network with the Learning and Audience and Engagement teams.

  • Enjoy refreshments in the Learning Lab
  • Experience hands-on learning activities
  • Explore The Making of Marlowe, an interactive exhibition exploring the life of Canterbury’s most famous poet and playwright Christopher Marlowe
  • Meet the Museum Learning team
  • Get a sneak peek at upcoming Exhibitions and how they link to the curriculum
  • Discover schools programmes for early years, primary, secondary, post-16 and SEND learners across all curriculum areas including STEM
  • Meet members of The Oxford Marlowe Project from the University of Kent and find out more about Marlowe and latest research.
