Grab your Frobscottle and join us for a fun family friendly exhibition of the magical illustrations that brought the BFG to life! This exhibition was curated by Quentin Blake and features 40 of his original artworks, prepared for Roald Dahl’s classic story The BFG.
The exhibition is presented courtesy of the House of Illustration and includes unpublished illustrations which will be exhibited for the first time alongside the final illustrations for the book. The exhibition includes some of the first designs for the character providing a fascinating insight into the collaboration between author and illustrator, and a glimpse of a BFG that might have been.
The exhibition will run alongside a programme of family activities from arts and crafts to our very own version of Dream Country!
Let your imagination run away with you in our Share your Dreams competition where you will have the chance to have your work transformed into an original illustration all of your own. You are never too big or too small to dream so there is room for everyone to enter- click here for more information about how to get involved.
