Pilgrims Hospices workers know that everyone is different. When caring for patients they try to find out what is important to them as individuals so that they can give the support, care and advice that is right for them.
With this in mind children from the region have thought about what makes them special and created artwork that expresses their individuality and reflects what makes them unique.
Work is selected from submissions, with prizewinners from separate age categories chosen by a panel of judges. There is also a People’s Prize for the most popular artwork, voted for by visitors to the exhibition.
The exhibition also coincides with the national Dying Matters awareness week, which aims to get more people talking about death and grief and this year focuses on how to help by listening.
Location: The Front Room, The Beaney
