Image Requests

Canterbury Museums & Galleries can supply images of items in its collections for personal or commercial use upon request.

You can now also purchase unframed prints for a number of our paintings via ART UK’s online shop.

Requests to use images of museum objects will be granted when the purpose is consistent with the mission and policies of Canterbury Museums & Galleries and Canterbury City Council.

A fee will generally be charged for this service, the scale of which will depend on the type of use (personal print, commercial publication, or research), print run (if applicable) and the image quality required. Only images for which we hold the copyright will be made available and all such transactions will be governed by copyright law.

For further information about this service please email beaneycollections@canterbury.gov.uk
