As Edith Sitwell said ‘Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home’. In our latest Front Room exhibition, Winter, we wanted to create a space which encapsulated all of these spirits and emotions through the eyes of an artist.

With pieces on display from dozens of Kent based artists, the joy of this exhibition lies in individuality. Each piece captures the artists’ personal interpretation of what they believe to be the epitome of the season, resulting in an collection of work perfectly reflecting and celebrating all aspects of Winter.

Our Galleries Team are in the final stages of setting up the exhibition before it’s opening this Saturday, so if you can’t wait until the 22nd here is a sneak peek at some of the artwork going on display…
