This exhibition showcases and celebrates the high quality and diverse work being created by specially selected Kent based printmakers today. We hope you enjoy the diversity in technique, intriguing narratives within the work and original takes on familiar places, as well as the all round quality on display! All the work on show is for sale and there are additional unframed prints for immediate sale in the Garden Room from some of the exhibiting printmakers.
The first part of 2020 sees a significant focus on Printmaking at The Beaney that includes this exhibition and a specially curated display of Prints from The Beaney Collection before culminating in a major show in our Special Exhibitions Gallery of over 50 twentieth century Prints from the Arts Council Collection. This includes work from internationally recognised artists such as David Hockney, Tracey Emin and Walter Sickert.
