Our Learning

Booking a Schools Workshop with us gives your pupils the unique opportunity to learn alongside a collection of thousands of inspirational artefacts and works of art.

We believe in learning through play and our activities are designed to stimulate curiosity, collaboration and creativity. Through handling real artefacts and investigating our collections your class or group can develop a range of enquiry-based learning skills.

Health & Wellbeing is at the heart of what we do and we are in a unique position to support your school’s pandemic recovery curriculum. Interacting and socialising in an inspiring environment can help to boost confidence and participating in calming, focused activities can help to reduce levels of anxiety. Groups will reflect on what they have learned as well as how their experience makes them feel.

Our dedicated Learning team will work with you to ensure you get the most from your visit, so whether you are investigating Victorian Toys, exploring Roman mosaics, creating art or looking to discover some incredible collections from around the globe, we have a workshop to suit your needs.
