Booking a Schools Workshop with us gives your pupils the unique opportunity to learn alongside a collection of thousands of inspirational artefacts and works of art.

We believe in learning through play and our activities are designed to stimulate curiosity, collaboration and creativity. Through handling real artefacts and investigating our collections your class or group can develop a range of enquiry-based learning skills.

Our dedicated Learning team will work with you to ensure you get the most from your visit, so whether you are investigating Victorian Toys, the Ancient Egyptians, creating art or looking to discover some incredible collections from around the globe, we have a workshop to suit your needs.

The Beaney has received a 2023 Sandford Award.
