About the group

Canterbury Museums & Galleries are delighted to have been awarded funding from the National Academy for Social Prescribing to deliver a new monthly FREE singing group for those with dementia and their partners/carers.

The sessions are delivered by Music4Wellbeing, a Kent-based charity that specialises in therapeutic musical interventions to improve wellbeing, along with a member of staff from the museum.

At each session you can expect a warm and friendly welcome, social time over refreshments and a wonderful singing based musical experience.
