If you read our blog a few weeks ago you will know that something very special is happening at The Beaney this Christmas. Artists in residence, Holder and Lamoon, are taking over our Christmas tree to create a visual Intriguerium of a display, inspired by objects in the collections.

As well as being a sumptuous delight for the senses, each decoration will be thought provoking, imaginative and have a story to tell.

The Christmas tree went up by the main staircase yesterday and decorations will continue to be added next week. The Beaney and our artists welcome you to come and explore the tree for yourself.

Here is a sneak peak at some of the decorations currently adorning the tree…can you spot the elusive Skyfish?
